Re: Hauling bikes

Dennis,
Crossing the Canadian border with a hunting gun is usually no problem. They dont like handguns for sure, but it may be possible.

Re: Hauling bikes

I have been to that area quite often and road conditions are usually quite good even in the wintertime. But watch the weatherforecast. You dont want to be caught in a snowstorm.

Re: Boss Hoss Cycles Germany fire

That is terrible news. Damage so far more than a million euros (1.3million US $) . I guess Ernst had to go to to hospital because of smoke poisoning. Also terrible for Andy Müller and probably 10 customers. ...

Beautiful trip and pictures. We took almost the same pictures two years ago before we met in the Rockies. The buffalo Bills Museum in Cody is spectacular

Did the same as Bill and it worked well. Put in the platinum plugs (guaranteed for1000000km) and never bother again.

Re: 10th Int. Boss Hoss meeting at Pullman City II / Germany

I would recommend everybody who is planing to come over for 2015 to make room reservations NOW !!!

You could always cancel them in the case you would not be able to come and they will be soaked up within minutes.

If you decide a trip a couple of weeks before the rally: forget it.

Just my 2 cents

Re: Custom Works in Daytona closing

That is so sad. Ted and his people are great. Ted came to Germany a couple of times for Boss Hoss and other events. Always had a good time. My understanding is that his main business is a trucking company near Boston. I guess Daytona was a too expensive "Hobby".

May be it helps you when you search on youtube for the "inverted fork leak fix video" . I find that pretty smart but I have no own experience with that.

Re: Fan temp switch

Yes, it is easy to change and install on the SB. On the BB it is a pain because the radiator has be moved. I personally find 185 still to low. I am using one that comes on at 210. 210 is a regular operating temperature for these engines in cars etc. This way my fan only comes on at traffic lights in...

Re: 10th Int. Boss Hoss meeting at Pullman City II / Germany

Barry, It is difficult to find a room at this time but if we talk to Wolfgang (Owner of Pullman) there may be a chance. There are always people who have to cancel. Otherwise you can find rooms in the area, but that means driving there at night. Uwes mail bosshoss1.uwe@web.de I am in Spain at the mom...

Re: LS3 test ride

From what I hear here in Germany, the "lag issues" on the early LS2/3s have been eliminated. If you buy a LS3 today you get a good, dependable bike. My understanding is, that the problem only exists with the hot cam LS3. I heared that BH took the mapping of an old Trail Blazer and tried to...

Re: LS3 test ride

if that "throttle response lag" is still there after a whole year then shame on the factory !!! When I fully accelaerated and went off the throttle it seemed to still pull for another 1/2 second and then have no "engine brake". This way I almost kissed the trunks of the vehicles ...

Re: LS3 test ride

Bill, I test rode the same kind of bike last year when I was in Daytona. Man, I was really impressed. That bike acelerates like a rocket. I felt it went at least as fast as my 502, probably better. The only thing I did not like was the slight delay when you go off the throttle. I hope they improved ...
