Re: FREE BEER!!!!

I get the distinct impression these European guys would be more fun to hang with than the law would allow. I've also heard that the less than average party hound from that side of the pond can drink the stoutest from this side of the pond under the table. I do ok but suspect by the time I passed out...

You like me.....you really like me!!! Sally Field 1985 Thanks for the kind welcome. The trans is moving, albeit slowly, along. I will be ready for a lap or 12 around the block soon. With the low gear and a lot less parasitic loss than the Nesco, I think it's gonna be a beast. 385 at the crank means...

Re: V8Chopper Trike finished

Phil, I have zero doubt the trike will be awesome, however, descriptions will be worthless... without PICTURES! Chomping at the bit to see how your trike turns out. I've already seen a number of Stan's trikes at Daytona, Myrtle Beach, and of course David's and they're all incredible. I actually saw ...

Re: Sabertooth and .com site

WM & Rob, First BH I rode was a '97 clutch bike and it was very cool but it didn't motivate me at the time to get a V8. I then rode a '98 single speed w/o the clutch and it really rocked me. That was in late '99 or early 2000 and I heard there would be some "BIG changes" with the '01 m...

Re: Sabertooth and .com site

Okie, I've never viewed the V8 community as a place for the rich & famous. I am proud to have rode and wrenched with MANY some of which gave up a lot to be able to get a V8 bike that was so important to them. I've always respected those folks all the more. Money, net worth, family jewels... neve...

Glad some folks here have a wallet as big as their mouth, wish I did! Oops, looks like I hit a nerve. Didn't mean to personally piss on your Cheerios. If your one of the guys whining about not being able to ride your V8 because of gas, I surely don't get any pleasure hearing this. I simply heard the...

Vrrmm, I wondered why we don't hear much from these guys. Sure seems they are having a hard time getting off the ground. Kind of strange how many posts get deleted there and many members are never even aware it had been done. Look forward to hearing more from you here. WM I've been pretty quiet lat...

Thank you Clint, What torture... Get your bike home on a Sunday and fly out for a week on Monday. I did not get to ride it much but all I can say is wow... This one made 590 and the next one up made 637. :o It was nice to see the grin on Stan's face. He builds awesome bikes and supports them like n...

Senor David Ward is in route to the border (Arizona) but managed to send me a few pics of his new pride & joy. I'm going to take the liberty of sharing these with the forum members as it's quite a piece of work  . Dave had 3 DART motors made, all the same block and basic components but di...

Thanks guys... I'll be happy to answer questions about oil.... I am not here to sell oil. If anyone wants to buy Royal Purple it is usually easier to get it locally. I will get pictures of the new bikes up as soon as possible. Unfortunately I am headed to the border today and won't be able to shoot...

Re: Welcome David Ward and Royal Purple

Tom, now that's pretty ironic you mention that. I was riding today with the 25 year olds on their R1's, Gixxers, R6's, ZX10's, etc. I was on my GSX-R 1000 chasing them pretty hard and hanging in there but it's hard to beat someone over 30 years younger and half those little snots were 5'-7" 140...

[quote="W1LDMAN"] Still haveing a great time here in Santa Fe. Yesterday we rode to the Red River rally where there was over 1000 bikes lined up. Today we were again at the Plaza in downtown Santa Fe and I saw this guy looking at my bike and under the tank. I asked what he was seeing and h...

Clint, I'm pretty cooked with the big rallies. Just made a decision today that Daytona in October is not going to happen with me. Having done Daytona in March and Myrtle Bch in May, I'm ready for the smaller stuff and won't be ready for the hassles of the big ones for at least the rest of the year. ...

Myrtle Beach is one of the few big events I haven't made, yet. Except for the normal hassles of any large gathering,it sounds like a pretty good time. Maybe I can attend next year. Is it just me or does everyone else think the overwhelming police presence is just a little ridiculous? shit! The "...
