Re: Grumpy and Wags new upgrades video

Wag,

That's the first time I've been to your site. WOW bro', that's a piece of work!

Thoroughly enjoyed all the videos especially the smoke shows. Great paint on your bike. Really cool site all the way around.

Re: Casper and Wildman in Santa Fe

Boom Boom,

I've never been to Sante Fe but my sister said it's very artsy, upscale, yuppie, classy, cool, etc. What are those two low class, foul mouthed, drunken biker scum doing there?

Such language  such attitude

You guys just need your knuckles tattooed, some black pants, white shirts, skinny black ties, black hats, and your existing sunglasses. Get the picture Jake, Elwood?

Re: THE world's best chrome polish!

Elliot....I always thought the same and would never use anything but Windex or specific chrome polish on chrome because of previous fuck ups. I had a few minor scratches on my handlebar and figured I'd give it a try at Stamford's recommendation. It worked perfectly removing the scratches and not ab...

Re: DAVID, C'MON DOWN!!!

Mike, Dave's on the road about 99% of the time. He's the Royal Purple Oil guy and travels significantly. About the smartest guy I know when it comes to oil. Because of David's relationship to Royal Purple, he has some awesome contacts and friends including Richard Maskin, owner of DART MOTORS. This ...

Re: THE world's best chrome polish!

Mike, I've been using it since my first Boss Hoss which had LOTS of polished unfortunately. It's the best I've used. Like most other guys, I've used tons of different brands and used to think MOTHER'S was real good 'til I got X-Treem. I've been spelling it wrong unfortunately. The correct spel...

Re: THE world's best chrome polish!

Joe,

Check my post two posts up. Don't want to do a "told you so" but I had never heard of anything that would polish out scratches from chrome. Any abrasive whatsoever will fuck it up. Sorry to hear about your headlight.

If you have never tried Xtreme, check it out.

DAVID & V8Choppers

We've got to get David Ward signed up here. I can't let the cat totally out of the bag (I promised), but I'm going to dangle a worm here.... Dave's got a serious yellow type chopper coming. I saw it at Stan's painter. It's going to be bad bad bad, it's nastier than my 520 ponies (possibly north of 6...

I look forward to it. Just that I was starting to go nutso with "jep" and "nep". With the crowd that hangs around this site, I have faith there will be a weird, over the top replacement, ha ha.

Re: My new trike PICS!!

That would be pretty wild Ricky. Hauling ass at a cool 125 mph and all of a sudden feel the whole top of the body shell with you riding it start to raise!

Ok, now with that being said, is Russ doing anything to that 502?! Nitrous burnouts on the trikes are too much fun!

Re: My new trike PICS!!

Ricky, I can't imagine that being accurate. I raced my '57 trike often at the track and saw speeds in excess of 120 mph quite often. No hint of lift. Same with my wife's 'Vette trike. When you consider the weight of the rider(s) sitting on the seat which is so far forward of the hinge point, it woul...

Re: My new trike PICS!!

Russ, That trike is tits! Extremely cool 8-) . I understand the "why" reason Bill states but it sure doesn't reflect my pick of trikes. I had a '57 body shell and my wife had the '63 'Vette. In spite of cooler paint on my trike, hers got more attention...and well deserved. The 'Vette trike...

Re: THE world's best chrome polish!

Eagle, I hear this loud and clear. A lot of the metal polishes are using a slight abrasive in them. I've never heard of chrome polishing out but it sure as hell scratches. I've not personally done it but heard exactly what you suggest. I hate polished anything anymore. I've polished enough for 10 li...

Els Road Trip to V8Choppers

I took a road trip a week ago to V8Choppers to visit owner/friend Stan Hughes. I originally told Stan when ordering the chopper I'd "just swing by" so we could go over options and bling. I figured; "I'm in extreme west NC, he's in Oklahoma, no big deal." I mapped it and it was ri...

Finally, one I could be proud of, thanks Mike! My geography knowledge is lacking in certain areas. Your part of the world is one of those areas. I often forget how big PA. is but when we drove it last year for the first time, I had better appreciation. When we come in, it's from I-81 / I-78 through ...
