Re: 502 top end
Most folks who have never ridden a rigid frame bike or remember some of the choppers from the old days have a preconceived notion that a hardtail is a nasty ride. Not so with the V8Chopper based on the year and a half I had mine (the one pictured below) and various others I've rode. When you ride ne...

Re: 502 top end
Tom had a GREAT idea! You can do so much really cool stuff to the bigblock that ends up making huge power. It's amazing how sleepy that 502 is in it's condition as delivered. Having read on some of the hotrod boards what some of the track guys have done with the 502, I slobber and drool. A kit like ...

Re: "KICKING ASS"
Just a dumb ass move on my part as I didn't scan the street before pulling out on U.S. 1 before doing a smokey. I look in the mirror and there's a blue light. The guy was totally pissed off. He pretty well got in my face and told me I had balls doing it right in front of him and it humiliated him. I...

Rob and Bill, Must be a different guy. The chap I'm looking for is named "RB". He is a pilot and business person who is involved in flying seafood via jet between Norway, Portugal and Florida. He is a wild man (sorry Mike) like you wouldn't believe and during last contact, had multiple wiv...

Since I posted this, no response from the guy I was hoping to hear from/about in Norway. Are you aware of any members here who are from Norway?

I'd like to second that! Thanks a bunch for a great site and special thanks for letting it be a place where one can express themself as we are without having to worry about political correctness and the moderator police (aka "Free Speech"). I sure wish a lot of the folks that signed up on ...

Tom, you already know how I feel about Holley's. When able, check out http://www.netwelding.com/holley_carb.htm and you'll get another good testimonial.

Re: changing the 57 trunk
At the track Tom, I'd go through a set of 325 Hoosiers in one night. That was the '57 I traded for with Breedlove. I used Big Red as a trade, then traded him another bigblock to get Big Red back, then sold the trike after having it about a year and a half. It was a bunch of fun. Last dyno sheet had ...

Re: 502 Sanderson headers
Tom, thanks for the PM. I'm really excited for you with all the goodies you have coming. You're going to have not only a great looking bike but the performance should be over the top. It drives me toward a thought that may be a bit opinionated but WTF... Gary and I had an early Kannon/V8Chopper fram...

Re: GM Direct Crate Engines
The LS7 is indeed sweet! The performance stats associated with it in the new Z06 are impressive as hell. 11.5 second 1/4 mile and 0-60 at 3.5 seconds are really impressive. I was going to go looking for one in my SSR with the LS2 blower motor but I think I'll scratch that idea.

Re: I Like This Site!
Ricky, I'm sure now. That's all fru fru, not a supercharger. Definitely lots of "bolt ons" there. It is certainly an attention getter for sure! The pictures I posted on "BLOWER(S)" are the real McCoy. Not as dramatic a statement with respect to appearance but the "real deal&...

Re: I Like This Site!
Ricky, I may be wrong, but I don't think the bike you have pictured has a blower. I couldn't see the necessary hardware in that picture and the radiator looks to be in the stock position. Someone correct me if I'm wrong. Go to the thread I posted called "BLOWER(S)" and the guy sitting on a...

Re: 502 Sanderson headers
Tom, Yes, the ends of the shafts on the Demon's accelerator pump are too long. I ended up spending time with Marv at Daytona and left deciding I was going to put a Demon 850 (as memory serves me) on the bigblock. Marv sent me one and there were clearance issues on the left side. We cut the shafts an...

Re: 502 Sanderson headers
Tom, Now your talking. It's amazing how asleep that 502 is coming out of the crate and especially set up as it is. I've seen some guys at the track who are running crate 502's in their Nova's and Chevelle's. They are really capable of making some serious horsepower. A long time ago I was doing a lot...

Re: 502 Sanderson headers
Tom, 3" oval is great looking! Did you primarily do for looks or did you know there would be a performance boost? Any change in the exhaust note? You were wise to oval the turn outs. I remember Charlie and I both did our own 3" exhaust ends on our 502's and we were making sparks regularly ...

See Joe, isn't it nice to be able to post this way?! Even if you (and most of my family) have misguided political notions, you can say what you're thinking here and not have to fear getting a spanking. I do though wonder, how does such a V8 badass get to be so fucking liberal, hee hee?! The ...

"Friends Abroad"
I didn't want to start talking about beautiful German women, er, I mean some friends overseas I haven't heard from in awhile on the BLOWER(S) thread so here it is... There is a bud in Norway by the name of RB. Does anyone here know him? I think RB may have gone into business with another over there ...
Re: BLOWER(S)
Mike, thanks for the translation. About the only German I know is "machen" and "beer". So as to not get off the BLOWER(S) subject, I'm going to take your "friends abroad" to a new thread...

Re: 4th Annual V8 Motorcycle Run - Daytona Bike Week
Sure hope there are a lot of folks who will be in Daytona the last Friday. Between Bill's ride and Stan's barbeque, it's going to be a great day to hook up with all the V8 brothers and sisters. I know a big group of SW Florida guys changed their plans from the first weekend to the second just to mak...

Re: love wags help board
I insured both trikes in FL with State Farm. We never discussed the 2 vs 3 wheel aspects. Simply insured it in the "bike" class vs auto. Having spent almost 30 years in the insurance business (including health) down south, I've not heard of an exclusion if it's an accident. That's pretty w...
Re: BLOWER(S)
I'm not 100% sure of what Mike said but it's probably ok, ha ha. The "smiles" character gave it away. Rob, that's the big problem with the Magnuson. The damn thing polished is over $7,000. It's good for perhaps 110 - 125 hp generally speaking which makes a nitrous kit a whole load more int...

Re: Tom's ex V8 company...Sabertooth
Bill, A long long time ago, in a galaxy far away... I sat with Tom B. and had the Chevy/Ford conversation specifically related to what at the time was Breedlove Motorworks. I know the little Fords are every bit as capable of doing the job that the GM motors do but questioned in terms of numbers, if ...
