Re: ✔️ YOUR OEM TRANS. OIL COOLER!!

2crzy, so you felt it's location was the problem ? Ok, also was your oem cooler like mine, with soft folded fins, where neither air or light could pass through ?

Thanks, Craig H.

Re: ELECTRICAL PM ON LSx BHs

Hi Jeff, I'm not an electronics x-pert by any means, but a diode is "usually used" across coil loads where electronic circuits are part of the big picture. The Diode "takes" the collapsing energy stored in the relay's coil, helping prevent a destructive V.spike into the system. E...

Re: ELECTRICAL PM ON LSx BHs

Sorry Jeff, I just now opened this thread again. I would think that because of where your master relay is located, with the engine heat going across it, you are just fine ! You DID get one that was both "continuous duty" rated and has the diode across it's coil right ?

2crzy, good input. So you cut the welds that hold the cooler to the radiator ? Craig H.

Re: Group Buy on LS 485 Tune

I'm now Wondering if Brian is no longer interested in messing with these things ? FACT : He donated a lot of his company's time in perfecting some of the GM EFI programs AND building the new Holly system. Brians hopes and assumptions were that he would make that back as new models sold ! But to his ...

Re: Group Buy on LS 485 Tune

BossHossMan, you are so right here. I never gave it a thought about the past Factory EFI tunes from the various vendors. Every bike and trike ran a little differently on the very same tune. OK, I'm sorry, I need to lighten up on the factory I guess !! Craig H.

Hey Guys, here is what I have just recently been told. Uncle Brian has been going through a "minor health setback" of some sort ! He has been receiving our request and correspondence, and "wants / intends" to get back to us. Now I know that if I were fighting Bone Marrow Cancer, ...

✔️ YOUR OEM TRANS. OIL COOLER!!

Another Craig Tech Tip here : On the 2012-2014 LSx platformed bikes & trikes, take a close look at the lower weld attached transmission oil cooler. Upon close inspection I found that it's fins were very soft material, and were formed or bent in a "S" shaped manner - throughout the enti...

Hi Donnie, Craig Haymaker here. You've most likely seen my recent classified here, on my 57 Chevy trike for sale. I've learned just a ton of info. Donnie, on the LS-3 trikes since owning mine, so please don't hesitate to shout out if needed. Fuel millage: With the new program on mine, and believe it...

Re: Brake light switch.

RocketSteve, you won't see 12v. "across" those two switch wires, is that what you are saying ? You are reading an "in series" voltage between a source (12vdc) through a load (light) then to ground. Craig H.

Re: ELECTRICAL PM ON LSx BHs

Ditto on that Dave. I can't understand how a wiring schematic for their harness that is capable (and does) scramble the onboard ECM, is so protected? You would think that they would want their "enemies" to get their hands on it, LOL to an endless joke ??

Re: Group Buy on LS 485 Tune

TXscooterguy, I have an idea that makes more sense. Let Brian and crew do the tune on your trike and pay them for what they have rightfully earned. Take your receipt of payment, include a letter from your lawyer, and send it to the clowns in Dyersburg ! Again by the factory's choice, Brian is no lon...

EASIER ACCESS

I know that this isn't rocket science here, and not a new idea to most : I attached three plastic "automotive drive up ramps" to my garage's floor, with some concrete "drop-in" fasteners. It makes cleaning, service and repairs- both above and underneath so much easier ! Easy to j...

ELECTRICAL PM ON LSx BHs

For us owners of LS-2 & 3 trikes and bikes (I assume), here are some preventive maintenance (PM) tips for the electrical side of things : Our Bussman fuse block located under the seat and ahead of the battery, has 5 - miniature light duty SPDT stab-lok mounted relays. It has been my experience t...
