Re: Happy Birthday Susan. Iron Maiden

 very funny but I have to say I feel and act 21 at times so does that count? Of course it does!!! You know when we get older, we get wiser which means you're wise enough to realize that getting older sucks so plan to be 21 forever and plan to act the part! You wear it well lol. I know I'm look...

Re: Heat from Boss Hoss Engine

I had an 08 HD Ultra Glide, an 09 Ultra Glide and a 2011 Road Glide Ultra. All three of those would cook the inside of your legs to Well done in about 30 minutes. The road Glide with the 103 was the worst. My 05 Small Block is SO MUCH COOLER than any of the above it isn't even comparable. Where in ...

Moose, I seen a t-shirt this weekend at Leesburg bikefest that I should have bought for both of us.... "DUE TO THE HIGH COST OF AMMO, I DO NOT FIRE A WARNING SHOT" perhaps it's creator sums up their reaction to absurdity :poke: LoL I got myself that shirt last Christmas and sent one just ...

Interesting thing is...when riding any Boss I've owned, the discomfort from heat never outweighs the experience of a wild beast thundering away between your knees... Unless it's on fire! IMHO

Re: Not Sure how to react

HAD to clean the bike yesterday. After being ridden in the rain 4 or 5 times, it starts looking neglected LoL. While cleaning the rear rim, I came across something I had never seen before. Somebody had taken the time to form their chewed gum into a nice little tight ball and stuck it to the inside ...

Re: Antifreeze Leaking

Running 100 shot. Gap is the same on both sides but just on the back side. The front is tight.Seems like the angle of the forks is causing this gap. I lifted front end of bike up and then lifted up tire and forks to see if there is any play. All seems to be tight with no play. Curious how your clun...

Re: Battery question

Bill noticed the battery was over 3 Years old and wants to replace it- do you replace it because of age or wait till you have an issue? Bill's reasoning is that batteries sometimes don't give warning signs of going bad so better safe than sorry - opinions?? The basic rule of "thumb" (no m...

Re: Battery question

Hey Bill, Odyssey has a pretty good track record although expensive. They pack a big punch for a compact unit but do best when on a tender at all times. Just my experience. Put two in my 124" worked Bourget and they did what no other battery would, cold and hot. Space is often the issue too. Ho...

Anyone have a belt driven waterpump installed?

Considering it and thought I'd ask what you guys have experienced? Of course the concept makes great sense since it eliminates electrical failure in the middle of nowhere and a spare belt is easy to store and change on the fly... Not sure what the flow rate is on jabsco compared to mechanical either...
