What your no seeing is the benefit is YOUR bike is tuned. The rest get a flash which SHOULD be close but every engine is a little different. The cost to dyno tune is $700 plus the ecu. So what your getting is a good running bike 100%.

Sounds good but the tunes are saved and ours after completion to do what we want with.

You guys can buy all the hardware, laptop and download then do what you want sure. They are not locked. However you will be spending quite it bit more money.

Ok here is the deal, I have tunes for the 485hp trikes done that we had on the dyno. The BH PCM if it has NOT been tuned with HP Tuners it is locked and even if the lock is bypassed the old program leaves behind lots of stuff and will not completely erase. All of the bike and trike LS customers have complained about the throttle dead spot, if yours is fine dont worry about it. There were two systems one was no MAF in front of the throttle body and one was map sensor. The map sensor PCM was an earlier setup and I am told it worked a little better.

The EFI unit off the newer 502's will fit on what you have the older style. You can put fuel injection on any motor you want. There should not be a problem to do this at all. As far as I know you can send in your ecu to get updated to the current tune/exchange program already. I will find out the status tomorrow and find out for you guys.

I really don't see it as a cost effective benifit. The dealers won't want to mess with them. Boss Hoss will now get all the phone calls like this doesn't fit ect.. I think as a business stand point maybe a frame fork package for someone to do a totally custom deal but anymore will just be hassle.
