His white blood count was up a bit. He is more alert and his eyes more expressive - his nurse was optimistic this morning. ...

This is the report I got from Harolds sister a little after midnight:

Harold has alot of injuries. The doctor called me after surgery. His spleen was shattered,left rib fractures, possible back fracture,damage/trauma to aortic arch and possible surgery, blood transfusions and on breathing machine

Talked to Geezer, who talked to VanSant, who was with Harold. No update yet other than he went to Dyersburg first then Memphis - more later
