Has anyone seen/tried this? Seems way too cheap for a decent FI swap.

I didn't receive it for whatever reason. You can drop me an email at cfeuster@mcdonoughmfg.com.The Mindless Philosopher wrote:Foose1986 wrote:Thanks for the input.
Does Carb Mike have an email that someone knows off hand? I’ll reach out to him.
I sent you a PM.

Edelbrock 1901 Carb
I bought a 1997 SB last fall, and the weather was finally nice enough to tear into it tonight. This bike has sat for a long time, and just didn't run right. I pulled the gas tank off and found myself looking at a very filthy Edelbrock 1901. After a little research, rebuild kits are easy to come by, ...

Re: 2018 La Crosse Gathering
What are the dates? I live about an hour and a half north of La Crosse. Will have to swing down and meet some of you guys.
Insurance
Who do you guys (specifically in the US) use for insurance? Do they offer full coverage for your BH, or liability only? Having some difficulty finding coverage for my 1997, even with a valid VIN (not home built). Progressive just dropped me unexpectedly.
Re: New Cam
When your bike was a clutch bike it needed 4-1 over all engine to wheel ratio. BUT now that you have a single speed auto, it should be at around 3-1. You should look for a larger front belt pully or a smaller rear one. When I did a single speed automatic in my 91 that's what I did. 2,200 RPM's at 6...
Re: New Cam
Thanks for the info guys, gave me a good laugh this morning. I have an old clutch bike that was converted to a single speed auto for the record. The motor is a bit tired (only 22k miles, but wasn't maintained well or sat for some time). Going to be doing a bit of work in the downtime on it this wint...
New Cam
How does everyone spec out a cam for their bikes? I have a small block 350, and not sure what is currently in it. A hot-rod guru started talking to me about it at work, but once he started talking usable RPM starting around 4000rpm I had to stop him since my bike is at 2900rpm @ 60mph. I would assum...

Re: Need a new front rim or fix this one!!
That's a pretty easy fix, just a little corrosion. When I used to be a tire buster at Goodyear in college, I saw that all the time on chromed rims. You can take an abrasive wheel and smooth it out, then apply a grease (tire shops have it) to seal it up. It was always a pain when people powdercoated ...

1992 Boss Hoss for sale locally
This isn't my bike, but our local auction house has a 1992 BH for sale, and so far the high bid is $630. Looks to be in decent shape. I won't be bidding on it, but maybe someone here is in the market for one. http://www.rrauctionsales.com/ You'll have to create an account, and find the November Elk ...

Re: Dumb questions from a new BH owner
Thanks for the replies. I've attached the paperwork I have. It seems to me that it's a BHC-2, but it's strange that my insurance company automatically called it a -3. Weirdest part - Kit bike that included the motor?

Dumb questions from a new BH owner
First off thanks for having me here. After years of riding Harleys, I finally found myself a used Boss Hoss a few weeks ago and pulled the trigger. It's a 1997 with a single speed automatic. Anyways, I have a few questions that I'm hoping you guys could answer. I browsed the Tech pages, but didn't h...
