Since it is raining hard in Des Moines Pam, Wildman and Shane are hanging out with us til it passes. Here is what Ron, WM and Shane are doing til the rain stops.

Re: La Crosse Rally
We have been pretty busy in La Crossee. Riding and drinking are taking up lots of our time but I finally have some photos to share.

Can you tell which black marks are Ron's? They would be the ones that go from one lane and curve into the other and back again.
WTF??

Here are some pics of our ride today.
We got held up by farm equipment on one road.
I thought we could have driven under it rather than wait for a passing zone.

Here is Redwood Joe as we are heading back to the hotel

Tom,
There is a black dot over the girls face modeling the panties with the pin on them. Why do you think it is me?

Re: La Crosse Rally
We had a 2nd trip to Hanson's but somebody must have seen us coming and called the Sheriff. Froggy made the best of it by doing a burnout in the burnout pit.
As is typical with our bikes, someone had a minor breakdown. But, as is typical with the great people we ride with, it was fixed in no time.
Friday night we all went to the Freight House for dinner. Grumpy, Wag and Kevin had made a tribute to Pam Lewellyn who we lost just a few months ago. It was very moving and there wasn't a dry eye in the place when it was over.

After dinner Friday night we went back to the hotel and hung out in the bar. Stan was entertaining the crowd by proving how gullible we gals are. He pulled pranks and just about all of us!
Clearly it was a late night at the bar.

Re: La Crosse Rally
On Saturday, Scott led us on another great ride.
We pulled into Wabasha, MN for lunch at a really nice place right on the river.
When we came out after having lunch a police officer was in the parking lot waiting for us.
He said there had been complaints about the orange bike that was with us. Apparently Stretch had been misbehaving as we rode thru town to get gas and then lunch. So the cop got a little rough with him.
Ok, not really. But what a great photo op!! The cop just wanted to check out the bikes. He was very cool and posed for us. We all had a good laugh.
It is always sad when the La Crosse "Rally" is over. It is great to see everyone and the riding is absolutely amazing. Thanks to Scott for mapping out and leading some truly great rides!! It is really nice that the people there on French Island where we stay seem to enjoy our coming each year. They generally are nice about waiting for us to come and go and keep together. A house near our hotel even had this sign in their yard. They must enjoy our "show".
Looking forward to seeing everyone again next year!!
