Geezer back on a V-8 bike!

Post by V8 Perv »

After a few years away Geezer is back in the saddle of a V-8 bike.
He bought my yellow V-8 Chopper and is selling his T Rex.

Today he drove down and I took him for a brief tour of central
Iowa and even though he had to drive thru some Pink smoke
he had a shit eating grin on his face. Then we went out for
a steak and now he thinks we are heading for the local biker
bar for a couple beers. Wildman and Shane might know where
we really are going.

Bob,
that's one great looking ride!! I wish I could afford two bikes, then I would put a V8 Chopper beside my Boss Hoss for sure.

Congrats on the new bike and don't put a 502 with supercharger in it this time

By the way - there was a trike from Danmark at the European Rally with a 756cui, 1000HP engine...looked almost stock, but was fast like hell.

But ooooonly just for once....hehehehe
That's the trike. Peer Bovien won three trophies at the rally:
Best burnout, Biggest engine and Fastest trike at the track.

Man, I not even have half the displacement

Bob, I would love to see you both racing against each other,
you on your sold 502 Supercharged trike versus this 756cui monster.

Olaf:

Hopefully I don't get totally stupid this winter...........

I just love this bike. I can't say enough about "Stan" and Gerry
as they were the builder and designer of this bike. I am totally
in love with the quality of the fit and finish.

At almost 65 years of age, I am thinking 425hp is maybe all I need ?????

Maybe, I should de-tune it to about 50hp...........

Geezer,
I agree on the quality- I took a close look and sat on Neil Weber's V8Chopper two years ago and loved it from the first moment on. Beside that - you, Tom, Neil, and everyone else who owns one says the same about the quality and the finish. And the looks is awesome.

Your Chopper is a nice bike, I'm jelous!

He he he...yes, 425 HP should be enough, but don't worry about your age, at (only) almost 65 you are a youngster compared to some european Boss Hoss grannys.

Squirm:

Yes, it is a ZZ-383 GM crate motor. Rated at 425 hp from GM

On the GMPP website, if you click on the ZZ-383 engine, and looks at
the specs, you will see a article from Chev High Performance Magazine
where they put a Vortech Blower on it, and made 746 hp on the dyno...

Shit, can't imagine those rods an hyper - U pistons lasting at that hp level
more than a few times...

And NO, I am not going there this winter, at least I hope not. I have a cam
on the shelf I may install, and a few other minor upgrades. :D
Geez

PS - Damn Squirm, you look good on that chopper with that Costco Shirt.....now
I want one.

Geez, I had a fantasy AD scenario about me and you doing a COSTCO shirt ad, I posted it on the other site and was wondering if you ever checked it out. I really like your bike and the 383 seems perfect to me. Mine is just a ZZ4 and it hauls ass. I been riding it pretty much every day but its so hot here that I can only ride early in the morning so it really aint getting a lot of miles. These bikes sure are a kick in the ass to ride, real addicting. Dave

That pic of the black chopper with the green flames looks just like the one I had.
I know there was more than one with that scheme though.

Dave has always been a trend setter . You might notice that he is one of the few in that Las Vegas crew that rides wearing a pair of skid - row bum shoes .
Your bike is a beauty . In my opinion you have the best set up for a motor . The right cam will bring that thing alive and you'll be able to ride it with out having to wrench on it all the time . Ask Stan I'll bet he will agree .
Hope I will be able to see you soon . Mike A.

So, you cats are heading to Sturgis? My plan is to get there again this year if possible, but only for a couple of days. Work. I'll pin you guys down for phone numbers, so I can find you if you are up for it.
