Post by V8Bikers »

Anyone contribute to the local economy in Daytona this year via the Police dept? :? I have been lucky, never pulled over in 23 years going to this event 8-)

The Daytona Police sure have a reputation as some real
strict bastards but I never got more than a stearn look
from them while riding last week.

Maybe I should have tried harder to get proper respect?

All the time I have spent in Daytona during various events I've never left with a ticket. I've gotten my share of written warnings, fingers shaked at me and verbal warnings ut that's it. Last year was the closest ... I was stopped three times :(

With the reputation of Daytona PD I have to say that I've always been treated with respect and professionalism even when I was clearly wrong.

I read that Jim got a $100 ticket for revving his V8 Chopper Trike on Main St. and i saw somebody getting a ticket for having their helmet shield half way open but he was not on a V8 Bike.
Who says building a border wall won't work?!? The Chinese built one over 2000 years ago and they STILL don't have any Mexicans ...
