I read the full account of your ordeal on FB. What a close call you had . Aneurisms are very dangerous and almost always result in a quick death when they burst. You we very lucky that they found it when they did. What kind of valve did you get, tissue or mechanical?
Not sure if you know but Schwarzenegger was born with a bicuspid as well and opted for a pig valve in the mid to late nineties. I really hope your recovery goes smooth and with little to no pain. Please keep us updated on your progress.
Here are a few nurses to help keep you company:

Ron and Deb, Prayers have and will continue to be sent your way...Hope for a full and complete recovery..Can't wait to see you guys again..Randy & Dawn..
Get plenty of rest and do what the doc says.
I understand the new valves are being built by Nesco. Just keep the oil in the middle of the sight glass and don't go over 100 beats per minute and you should be OK

Who says building a border wall won't work?!? The Chinese built one over 2000 years ago and they STILL don't have any Mexicans ...

If Nesco built my replacement valve I guess I'm just plain FUCKED! But guess the doctors would be guaranteed of repeat business.
Ron,
any update on your progress? Hope you are doing well!

Already riding stationary bike 25 minutes at a time and
then walking 20 minutes on treadmill each day. The low sodium diet is a giant pain in the ass but I guess the other option ain't so hot either.
Not supposed to drive for a month but been driving every day. I start the official Cardiac Rehab program next Wed and will be doing that 3 times a week for another 8 weeks. Then they will decide if I'm healthy enough to get rid of this FUCKING piece of shit defribulizer (spelling?).
I cant see any way I will be able to refrain from riding the trike in another month or so. How could it be more stressful than 45 minutes of exercise?
Bottom line is I'm doing GREAT and the Perv will ride again!

Ron,, great to hear the good news. Don't rush your recovery as you well know, go your own pace. You will be tire smokin again on those badass trikes before you know it.
Ron just take it a day at a time and your body will be sitting on that trike in no time.
Glad to hear the progress is doing well.
Look forward to following the smoke ( as Don said) to see you and Deb again.
Deb and I are flying to Arizona on Tuesday to enjoy what little is left of the nice weather. My recovery is going very well and I need a little quality time with my
blower trike.
