It's Tuesday here in Colorado and Wildman's Wild Week just got a little more exciting. We are trailering the bikes to the mountains, Wildman is leading the way. Driving like a true Wildman at 75+ while stroking at 186 plus with the air conditioner on high, music blaring and not a care in the world. All of a sudden Ron says "isn't that smoke coming out of Wildman's van?" So we call him on the phone and get him to pull over. Luckily we were near a town and could pull into a big parking lot. The guys found a broken heater hose and absolutely no water in the radiator! To quote Wildman..."It's fucking hot!" Luckily after a nice lunch and a trip to the hardware store the van was fixed and we are back on the road.

Two observations I made from the pics:

Why would anyone let Ron under the hood of their vehicle?

La Crosse was called a real riding rally, seems Wildman's Wild Weekend is a real trailer rally, you not only trailer to the rally but you also trailer to the daily rides  Now I know I am not welcome there because I don't trailer and because of the comments I just made

There is just one thing I can say:

Haha! :D

Maybe I have to find someone else to show me how to do oil change if you can't even take care of your van... ;)

Olaf...

You cant find the engine as there is usually about 8 illegal immigrants in there pedalling, which is why those vans are so slow. They dont overheat...its the illegals taking a leak.

Tuesday in Colorado turned out better than it started. After Wildman's van was fixed we got to Denver then headed out to the mountains. Wildman had some great roads to show us and we saw some amazing scenery. Turned out to be a really good day.

Wednesday was another beautiful day in Colorado. Wildman took us south of Denver to visit Lee in Sedalia. We got to see how he is coming along with his diesel bike, it looks awesome. Then we took a ride and saw the most amazing scenery. I probably say that every day. It is truly beautiful in Colorado and Wildman is really showing us the sights. Here are some of the things we have been seeing.

Looks like a great trip.

Sure brings back memories of when I lived in Denver and
rode those mountains for five years.......

Truely "God's" country

Good food, a few drinks, and the mountains of
Colorado, it don't get any better..

Enjoy !!

PS - Tell Perv, I spend $500.00 on a diamond drill,
but the cheap ass only had $55.45 and a
large bottle of "Viagra" in the safe. I am up
to 645 strokes per minute.......

Yes, real nice area where WM lives - we have been twice there with a motorhome and enjoyed it a lot! Must be nice to ride in Colorado, especially if there is no helmet law.

Thursday in Colorado was cooler than the past couple of days. We had to wear our jackets all day but still took about a 200 mile ride. As usual we saw some great sights. This first pic is Wildman and a steep, twisty road.

Here we have the scenery outside Boulder, CO

This is Estes Park, CO

And this is a neat looking cut through the mountain.

Here are a few more pics from Colorado. The first is an Elk or Moose and her baby crossing the road.

Wildman took Ron and I downtown Denver to Buffalo Bill's bar called Buckhorn Exchange.

And this is Wildman's "starter" burnout.

On Friday Wildman took Ron and I up to Mt. Evans. They said it was 41 degrees at the summit but with the wind I thought it felt more like 31!! Here are pics of Wildman near a snow bank and me near the snow bank.

When we got to the summit, there were mountain goats up there.

When we got back to the hotel, Wildman took my trike for a spin.

After a morning and early afternoon of riding, Ron and I went to Bandimere Speedway to watch the NHRA drag races. It was awesome! Here are some of the cars and bikes we saw racing.

Here is a video of the funny cars racing. Ashley Force is driving the car in the far lane. She won this race. As a matter of fact the fastest time posted while we were there was by a female driver...Ashley Force!

Holy shit Wildman! I remember you telling me all the fuel tankers
must take that road instead of the tunnel. Sure did enjoy the trip
to Colorado this summer. Ready for another road trip already.
