Flew into Christchurch yesterday and picked up Kiwi B (Miss B's smaller sister) and put a few miles (well, kilometers down here) on her today. Will take some pix at the Barn tomorrow (Saturday). See y'all!
My 100-proof woman
A bottle of 95-proof whiskey
A tank of 90-proof gas
And 502ci of V8 bike

Another great day!

Well done to Brian and Sue and the rest of the Brifahrt organization, underneath that callous kiwi exterior is a top class operation. Not as big a bash as last year but a constant stream of V8 bike enthusiasts and potential owners.

One of the highlights of the day was when Brian demonstrated his big block burnout skills...several times. Jubilee street looked a lot more stripey by COB :D . Hopefully we will get the youtube vids cause the abnoxious little bugger can really toss a V8 bike around. Got the opportunity to ride the LS3... ...a potent weapon and NOT for beginners. So nimble and tight and blindingly fast. Got to give BH credit for that package and having riden one i definitely get what the LS3 thing is about. Can only compare it to nitrous like power without the mechanical violence haha.

Wish i could share all the cutting edge engineering you get exposed to when you spend a bit of time around the Christchurch mob but suffice it to say that behind the BossHoss shopfront is a world wide network of blokes and bloketts that know what they are doing.

Had the absolute pleasure of catching up with Doc Rene too and when i get over this JD hangover and no sleep for 3 days i'll post some pics.
