This is unreal! I didn't know this was referencing a bike earlier. I had seen an article about a 4 wheeler and those too were incredible performance numbers.
The 1/4 mile time and speed these guys did is just amazing! I keep wondering what it would be like without the noise. I compare it to the 10 second times most of the Jap bikes do and it's just unreal.
When you see this is today's technology, the kind of hp made and not contained in a semi truck sized vehicle but rather 500 hp in a BIKE, why are we being held hostage to the damn Arabs and oil? With electric technology it seems the conservation folks would be smiling, the damn Arabs would go back to eating dates and screwing their camels, and we'd be driving 500 hp bikes!
I of course left out the tranny issues. I'll need to reread but suspect it's direct drive.
