yes...a true 2 speed gearbox with a true reverse..not just a "helper" reverse like the Nesco...barbarianv8 wrote:wow, this looks great.

From info I have it is a true 2 speed...I don't think you can build a bullet proof tranny like this with an actual overdrive...burnouts in 2nd gear?? someone please correct me...Carl La Fong wrote:Is it a true 2 speed or a one speed with an overdrive, like the Nesco? It appears, from the pix that it is an OD trans.
From the pix that I saw in an earlier thread, it has stock sized BH pulleys. If that is true, then it must be an O/D trans. My Ranger, which is a true two speed with a low and high gear as opposed to a high and an O/D, needed a huge front pulley (a 45, as I recall) to get proper road gearing. A two spped automatic would be no different as far as final drive ratios are concernedCanuckHoss wrote:From info I have it is a true 2 speed...I don't think you can build a bullet proof tranny like this with an actual overdrive...burnouts in 2nd gear?? someone please correct me...Carl La Fong wrote:Is it a true 2 speed or a one speed with an overdrive, like the Nesco?
