yes...a true 2 speed gearbox with a true reverse..not just a "helper" reverse like the Nesco...

Is it a true 2 speed or a one speed with an overdrive, like the Nesco? It appears, from the pix that it is an OD trans.

From info I have it is a true 2 speed...I don't think you can build a bullet proof tranny like this with an actual overdrive...burnouts in 2nd gear?? someone please correct me...

Well, the BH factory is supposed to receive Winters transmissions!
Tom and Bob planning to deliver and help us install the first 3 transmissions in bikes that will be going to Sturgis!!
How bout dem apples??
The "Nesco" transmissions will continue to be produced and supported with parts; until a final decision is made in the next few weeks, the Winters will be an option.

From the pix that I saw in an earlier thread, it has stock sized BH pulleys. If that is true, then it must be an O/D trans. My Ranger, which is a true two speed with a low and high gear as opposed to a high and an O/D, needed a huge front pulley (a 45, as I recall) to get proper road gearing. A two spped automatic would be no different as far as final drive ratios are concerned
