You know Darryl the pictures aren't a big deal but now you are asking us to count That sounds like a lot of work but some time when I think most of them are parked I will try to get some kind of numbers figured out for you

Darryl this morning shortly after the burnouts I walked around and attempted to count the V8 bikes there were 105 I could find not sure if any were still in trailers or parked by the motel. I did not include Harley's or go carts.

103 V8's,,,,must be an awesome sight. your posting, counting & consistently updating us is allowing those who cannot be there, to be there the best we can. cherish the time you are there, it will last forever, whether it's waiting in line for food, or speaking to the brothers or topping the next hill.

Had an email from Miami...apparently some of them made it to the strip. WM and Els went head to head...only details i know is WM ran 10.sumpin (no gas) and Els went through at 144mph!!

Looking forward to some more details huh

I'm not sure if Wildman and Elliot actually raced heads up but I did see
Wildmans time slip and I believe he ran right at 11 seconds but he
let off on the gas way to early and certainly would have ran quite
a bit faster if he would have stayed on it. Guess he started stroking
it after the 1/8 mile mark.

I'm not sure of Els ET but it wasn't very fast as he just fried his tire
and couldn't hook up. He did run over 141mph so his scooter is fast
if he could just get the tire to hook up.

I ran 6:55 in the 1/8 and 10:30 in the 1/4 on my trike and really
thought I could go faster but just couldn't find enough traction.

In my opinion the star of the show was Gary on his V8 chopper
I believe he ran something like 9.80 at 150 mph.

Still having a great time here in Miami. Had a little jump rope action tonight. Check out 1 competitors uniform odd set up starts out as shorts, then the pants reach to his ankles, next thing we know his pants are around his ankles. Was hanging out in the tent next thing we know Hogg has disappeared leaving only an empty chair and a can of beer, but Bryan was still going strong.

Damn looks like Deb and I left too early!
