Wildman , looks like my kind of Bar . I got a kick out of going to the # 10 Saloon in Deadwood where Wild Bill was shot and killed . I don't know if it's still this way but you had to check your visible weapons at the door like a Buck Knife . I said to the door man , " how do you know I don't have a knife or a gun in my boot " "he said all we want is what we can see ". If he only knew I had a 38 cal. Derringer in my boot and Cheryl had a 38 Snub Nose in her purse it might have been a different story but all went well and I got my knife back when we left . I love that Bar .

Wildman that is just downright scary seeing two Wildmen at once!

I am just now leaving for Omaha to meet Hogg in the morning
and head toward Sturgis. Don't drink all the whiskey before I
get there.

Damn, Wildman, what a nice story and good pics!!!!!!!!!!

I sure wish I could have been there and have a couple of beer with you and Uwe. I just loooove Sturgis and the area around - have been there twice with Ramona and hope to be able to go there again...someday.

Thanks for posting,
Olaf

PS: Good luck on the way back to CO, bro. If you see Chimney Rock, then you are almost at home!! We have stopped there during a trip to Fort Laramie...man, that's really no man's land, sure don't wanna break down in that area and hope you make it all the way home with your leaking radiator...

Wildman, so I missed you in Sturgis....flew to Great Falls, rode up to Canada to meet up with Bryan Ward and down to Sturgis. Did see our German friends on Tuesday at the V8 Chopper sales set-up. I bet this was a wild treat/scene for them as this is a biggie. Seems I missed a bunch of other V8 riders as well from the boards....messed up as went into Deadwood a few times...poker and beer kept me from moving too much. Debuzzing now back in NYC.....Pete

W1LDMAN wrote:Pete, I don't know if you saw that I made my replies to you and Loaf under Kaboom! :D Got it straightened out now. While you're de buzzing in NYC I am doing the same here on the plains of eastern Colorado! ;) A perfect example of why they should never give a drunk the keys to anything!! I was working hard on a project we will be announcing in the next day or so and was trying to do too many things at once!! Now everyone knows I'm a bum that needs a haircut AND a drunk!! My apologies. Wildman//
Mike , your my kind of guy , just wish we lived closer together and could hang .

Ron and I went to Sturgis and went on some beautiful rides, saw the scenic places like Crazy Horse and Devils Tower in Wyoming.

Rode the Needles Scenic Highway and went through 3 really narrow tunnels.

Friday night it rained and hailed while we were parked on Main Street. Luckily we didn't get any damage to the trike. It was pea sized hail in town but about 4 miles east of town they got golf ball size hail. Unfortunately I didn't get a pic of that.

We saw this on Main St.
