Thanks for the welcome. I just found this site thanks to Barry and was reading it last night. This is a cool site. I recognize some of the guys from the other site so I already feel at home. Dave/Squirm

Hey Dave... Still getting my 'sea legs' on this site. Hard to type with the Photo reverse of what we are used to. White on black. However, that is minor.

I'm guessing we'll see more European content and other international content on here.

Say WM... how do I post pics, and Avatar on here. I've reduced the pic to 'below' the limit... but it still doesn't recognize it.

If this works...

it was a response to a question on the OTHER V-8 site.

Who is the youngest V-8 bike rider?

Ok... I caught on to posting pics... but cannot seem to get the Avatar thing down yet. I used a program to make the pictures small enough for the limits of the Avatar... but it saves them in a .bmp file extension, which is not allowed.

Any other ideas?

I'd like to get this pic as an Avatar.

She's the cutie-patootie I mentioned before. Gotta date with her at a bash this Sunday.

I hear she likes cats.....

Thanks for the welcome you guys. I will try to put a picture in my avatar after Christmas. I am happy enough for now to know that my posts won't get deleted for some bullshit reason. I am glad to see Rick and Barry are here now too. I recognize Wild Man and others from the other site so I don't feel quite like the new kid in school. Of course its good to see Els over here and once I learn how to work the things on this site I will be right at home. I aint worth a shit on computers maybe because I'm old. Us old guys seem to have a hard time catching on to this stuff. I usually finally get it good enough to join in but loading pictures or anything out of the ordinary is always a challenge. Dave

Man oh man, good posting going on here at the Rebel site :D . Kidd's new chopper, Tommy's new chopper and winter projects, Dave's cool '57 HD, and Ric's women!

Ric, remember in the Blues Brother's movie 8-) ....Jake (Belushi) says in the restaurant scene; "How much for the woman? How much for the little girl?" That rings in my head looking at the picture you posted, ha ha. That sure is a great pool side shot in Canada

Ric, you got the pics I keep going back to. WM, the Pikes Peak truck race looks like a great time. Did Garys truck make the race? This is a good site, I'm happy to be here. Dave
