Hey Tom, My buddy Phil here has that same proceedure. He came through it fine. I think they have him on meds of some sort. He's a funny as ever - I wonder if they lengthened is 'funny bone' while they were at it....
Sent a prayer that when you recover from this... we get a chance to meet up soon.

I'm glad to say I am sitting in the "bus" posting tonite. I go in to the doctor next week
for a needle biopsy to see if the mass that is pushing my esophagus to my right is just a
growth or mallignant, there is several treatments possible including surgery or drugs.
Thanks w1ldman for the emails and to the great folks on both v8 boards...
I'm sure my bro w1ldman will pass along any new information as it happens.

Now that i'm released by my dr. i can try to get some warm weather
and get on the trike..it's damn cold here, I feel like I'm in fuckin Iowa, the Iowa perv
in des moines must be behind this...

Hmmm.... so Ron's on the hook for all those things? I didn't believe the papers, until now.
WM? Your bitchin' about -20? Awwwwww... that's cute! It's -42 with windchill in my town... and I'm considering going down stairs to plug my van in... but it usually only doesn't start, below - 50.... so naaaaaah... I'll just go get another beer instead.

Hi Tom...glad you're feeling better..I had that "chokey" feeling and went to the Doctors..I had the ultrasound and biopsy too..also on xrays it shows my esophagus is shifted to the right..they found I have some collid cyst in my thyroid..I don't need meds as my blood work is normal..but it can be a nuisance..get on the trike..seems like everyone is in a deep freeze across the nation except you..BoomBoom

Just an update..the thyroid med is working well, the weather is improving, Nancy got her
new mini cooper s convertible yesterday and the kampground is gearing up for raceweek..
Won't be too long and bikeweek will be here and I am looking foward to all the riders coming
south.
