Trike conversion kits...not the Boss Hoss ones

I am thinking about doing trike conversion thru our shop and I am looking for feedback as to what "may" be the best trike conversion kit out there for Harleys, Hondas etc.

Any feedback and all feedback is greatly appreciated.

I anticipate comments coming and thank anyone in advance.

Tell me something I don't know...

Reason I asked here is because I figured there were some here that came from riding other trikes and are now riding Boss Hoss trikes

AND...I trust opinions on here more than the Honda site.

Although I'm talking out my category, but I'm guessing you've considered Leahman kits... and am also guessing that they are pretty pricey.

When I worked for Tripoli Frames out of Red Deer, our leader Don Newlove was considering building trike conversions for Harleys. He since cut out when that company folded, and went on his own. Just for giggles... I'll see if I can find him. If nothing else, he might have a few links or suggestions...

Barry... These are one of the best out there. Give Adrian a shout... He has done extensive research here.

Hannigan makes very high quality trike conversions. Not cheap but very good.

We have a Hannigan conversion on a Gold Wing and love it. Rides great and handles like a dream. I know it is not a Boss Hoss but still a great trike.

Barry,
what about this one? It's a Simson Duo DDR east Germany motorized rolling chair- made (and during DDR times only available) for handicapped people. I'm seriously interested into buying one, just for fun. I just got this picture today from a seller who wants 500 Euros for it. They are extremly rare and funny like hell. 45 mph, two stroke, 50ccm...hahahahaha...you can drive it with 2 people sitting side to side...hahahaha...oh well, Ramona said she won't drive with me...I laugh my ass off

Olaf...I heard your ass hit the floor from Canada!!!!!  and I don;t think those will be mass produced...sorry

Tom...The California one is the #1 we are looking at as well as the Hannigan...interesting we got feedback on those 2 sofar.

Ric...The Lehman version is monopolized I beleive by the 2 homos...oooops...I mean brothers at Pigeon Lake...again in my shop I wnt to do things that nobody else is doing and sell brands that nobody else does...that makes us very unique.

I await more feedback...

Barry, go to

Gl1800riders.com

and ask around as those Gold Wing folks ride a bunch of different trikes and will respond with their favorites. Tom hit it on the head when mentioning Calif. Side Car, they have an excellent rep.
