Oh my godness....I hope the water doesn't rise higher and I hope they have a good insurance!!! Not a good feeling to see the factory in trouble like this :cry:

nope. not good at all. Gore'd by the EPA, GFC'd, now they wet, how about next time we throw a meteor shower and see how they handle it. all the best to them.

"Just heard from Ernie Beadle...Boss Hoss Kamloops..who is in Dyersburg picking up bikes ...there is now 4 feet of water in the factory and rising... "

Local agencies today stated that this 2010
Dyersburg flood has surpassed the flood of
1937 in Dyersburg........by 3/10 of one foot.
So THIS flood is the worst in Dyersburg's history.

I think homes and business's that are built in a flood prone area should be built on piers as high as needed to keep them above the flood height . It could be done with style and would make nice sheltered parking when dry . I saw some nice homes built this way in the Florida everglade area .
