I have family east of there on 188. Neindorf. Also in Dohren. Breitenrode too.

that's about 2 to 3 hours away from where I live. If I go this direction the next time, I make a stop over at Hildebrandt's for a coffee and send them greetings.

My mothers family come from Niendorf (Lupke). The old windmill on the west side of town was ours.
Farther in town on the left side, is a house with all of our history written on the whole front of the house in paint script. My cousin has the house today.

My uncle was burgermeister in Dohren. That is a few kilometers away near Mackendorf.

My dads side comes from Gorzke(50 km's from Magdeburg). I have land there.

I plan to do much more riding my bike in 2011 than I did last year, and there is a Boss Hoss rider in that area (he lives in Jembke, that's very close to Neindorf) - I will visit him this year in summer and then I will have a coffee at Hildebrandt's. I will send you a message short before I go there. I already saved your posting to my cell phone. I will take some pics and post em here as well.

Were you able to keep your bike? Or did you sold it in the meanwhile?
