price of fuel

I am a little curious on the prices of diesel and hi grade bezine.
The last time I was in Germany, I paid about 1.60/liter for bezine.
I already know the prices go up and down twice in the same day, but on the average ?
Me and Cheryl are planning something in the near future.
If it works out OK, I keep my big block, if it works just ok, I sell the bike.
[/A u500 Unimog is the plan for 2 or 3 years here, then its relocation time and I ride my bike in Germany.
Otherwise I sell it now, and do the same thing in 2 years. i]

Erwin,
it's still 1.60 Euros a litre - that works out to 2.15 canadian dollars a litre, or 2.20 US dollar a litre which is 8.31 (US) dollar a gallon.

Well not cheap to ride a V8 bike in Europe - but worth every drop.
Keep the bike and ride it over here!

Olaf,

About the only difference from when I was there last, is the Euro is stronger than our dollar.
The price is still the same.

Im hoping I get this contract for next winter. Im working on it now. If I get it, I will import my u500.
18 months is all I need and we will move. Ill ship the Mog back, maybe even my New Holland skid steer loader. The Harley will always stay with me. The Hoss too if I can buy the Mog without having to sell it for a BIG down payment. All else I will sell.

If you really have to sell the BB, take it with you and sell it in Europe!
You'll find more customers wanting a BB over here I think.

Martin

Im afraid that if I brought it with me, I would not sell it.
Europe is very different than Canada.

My friend here moved from Luebeck a few years ago, and talking with him, he talking very seriously of moving back.
If he decides todo that soon, I will load my stuff with his.

Besides, I want to be with my family while they are still alive. I was tired of meeting them in the friedhof.
If my project doesnt work out for next winter, Im out of here.
