V8 Trikes & Bikes in Conesville

Post by addicted08 »

Perv and I have been going to the Conesville Motorcycle Rally for a few years now and he has been telling folks how much fun he has here. So this time some of our V8 friends decided to come and check it out. Coming into the rally grounds you see signs stating you must be 21 years old to enter and telling you some of the "rules" like this one.

Harold Blocker, Bob Gamel, Gary Shaver, and Rick McKenna were the first to get here and find our camp.
Image

We took them to the camp across from ours where some of our friends were hanging out. Introductions were made and we sat and visited.

Later we rode over to the Thirsty Camel for some supper.

Perv was in fine form harrassing the waitresses.
Image

They wanted to have their picture taken on a trike so I let them sit on mine. Perv wanted in the shot.
Image

Then the guys decided to take a ride into town. This is all I got of Perv.

The next day Big Jim, Dave and Gary from Chicago, along with 4 of their Harley riding friends, pulled in. Shortly after them came Marv from Minneapolis with his friend Larry.

It didn't take long to get everyone over to the drag strip and signed up to run. Ron started it off.

Here are the guys talking between runs.

This is a father (green bike) and son (blue bike) getting ready to race each other. The kid actually won, must be faster reflexes off the light than the old man.

Here is Marv getting ready to make a pass on his 1100 HP Boss Hoss Bike.

Big Jim getting ready to smoke up the track.

Some of the guys in the pit area.

After making a few passes and watching all the other bikes make their passes it was time to pack it in for the day and go get some supper. In true Perv style, this is what Ron came back to camp with.
Image

And then, of course, he got them to flash everyone.

Ron, Harold, Gary Geezer, Rick and I went to the Roadhouse for supper Friday night and Ron told the waitress that he would double her tip if she would bring Geezer his beer with a nipple on it. So she did!

On Saturday they had the "Pint Size Brawlers" midget wrestling. The 4 wrestlers were signing autographs and taking photos with people so Ron took my photo with the wrestler from the Philippines.
Image

I thought this wrestlers' shirt was funny.

Here are 2 of the 4 that were there.

Antics in the ring to entertain the crowd.

Check out this guy's name on the back of his suit.

After the wrestling it was back to racing. A couple of the wrestlers and a body guard (the guy with the helmet with the horns) came to check it out. That is the infamous f@#%man Charlie on the far left of the pic.

This is some of Ron's handy work on the track.

After the drag racing was over with on Saturday evening they took an old pickup with a "rice bike" on it and used a jet engine-flame thrower-thing-a-ma-jig to toast it. The flame thrower was really loud. Pretty spectacular in the dark.

As it got later at night and more beer, etc. was consumed the people got crazier! Here is one of the midget wrestlers riding the mechanical bull.
Image

Then Ron found a couple of girls had found his trike and were "using" it. Surprisingly, he didn't mind. And neither did the crowd that had gathered.
Image

This girl decided she really should have her photo taken sitting on the trike and was more than willing to follow the rules of Perv's trike by showing her tata's.

I finally got some of the videos up loaded so here are the links. As usual, this post comes with a WARNING! The announcer has a serious potty mouth so you may want the sound turned down if you are not watching in private.

Ok Wildman since you are trying to be a wise ass I will explain a bit further.

The track record holder for mph at 130+ has run low 5.90's at Conesville but
has run low 5.70's at a prepped track.

My trike runs at least 3/10 second faster on a good sticky track.

Wildman you need to bring your big Green Machine down and play with us next year.
