Forever bike?

Post by V8Bikers »

How many own what you consider to be your forever bike(s)?
What would your ultimate bike be?
I am not at that point yet. My dream bike would a mountain
aluminum supercharged big block with at least 1,000 hp, vanquish tranny,
stretched tank, (cutout for scoop) twin nos, 360 rear, drag bars, and
Chris Cruz paint. May not be practical but damn, I love big, beefy, powerful machines! (buying lottery tickets weekly)

I'm 65 years old and on fixed income. My BH is, more than likely, My forever bike. Now, if I were to win the lotto, the game would change. I like old and, sometimes, weird stuff. I would get a few antiques, maybe a Crocker (the Holy Grail), a Vincent, a 36 Knuck. I would also get some of my old favorites like a YDS-3 Yamaha, an Allstate MoPed (to relive my youth), a Moto Rumi scooter, a Velocette, a 750 Kawasaki Widow Maker, etc., etc., etc.
Of course, I haven't bought a Lotto ticket in years, so I guess it's just me and my BH

As much as I like this BH Sb, I know me and i know it isn't my forever Bike. I do not see me going back to the V-Twin world ... ever. My next bike will be a step up from this one. How big of a step will be up in the air until it happens. The good news is, The wife will just look at the new scoot, look at me then shake her head walking away laughing at me ... Kinda like she did when i showed up with this one LoL
Who says building a border wall won't work?!? The Chinese built one over 2000 years ago and they STILL don't have any Mexicans ...

Like Brother John, I'm also on a fixed income. Should all goes well with the repairs and my health - hoping to ride my dream 605 trike this summer and then sell it to pay off loan. In memory, this will be my forever dream trike.

Robin,
how are things going with the repairs? Is the trike still at Stamford?
Are they doing all the work?
