Trailer Info Needed

Post by petitemoose »

I need another trailer Like a hole in the head BUT I am looking for the Fiberglass Enclosed Trailers that are one or two bike units that have the pop up lids. They are low profile so towing them behind the truck should not affect my mileage so much. No matter what enclosed trailer I use now, they are huge windblocks and my mileage drops down to about 8 mpg if i drive as I normally do. I can get it up to 9.5 if i drive like my Grandfather.

I have NO idea what those types of trailers are called or even any brand names. Your assistance is appreciated.
Who says building a border wall won't work?!? The Chinese built one over 2000 years ago and they STILL don't have any Mexicans ...

Here's a few options:

http://www.ironhorsetrailers.com/

http://www.rallytimetrailers.com/

http://www.oldinc.com/magseries.htm

http://aeroshieldtrailer.com/

I've seen one (brand unknown) that was used to haul a boss bike, but there was only room for the one bike.

That ironhorse trailer looks very much like the one I have. They call them Excalibur here in Europe. When I have my Boss behind the Tahoe there is hardly any difference than without a trailer.
