I just got off of the phone with Mike. He called to ask what the hell did he do to deserve that? He hasn't posted there for years. I suppose it's the "bird flips" that he was known for.

Does the "other guy" visit this site, is he a member? I don't believe he is ... he would have to lower his standards to be hanging out in our little cesspool with society's cretans. Nothing the "other guy" does is a surprise to me and hasn't been for years. Most of the dribble is either misrepresentation at best or lies.

Carl buddy...from the heart....you need to let go of the anger and the ill towards another person regardless of whether they agree with you or not . You can't change anyone...it is pointless wasted energy...It is not good for you.

Been there for a short spurt a bit ago and hated it with a passion and sorted it out.

A question with deep thought though...how can 2 people who say they either "follow Jesus" or are Christian, set an example like this???????

Though it may seem otherwise, I really bear no ill will towards Adrian. I know that he is quite ill and I hope he is able to stay ahead of the illness for as long as possible. I'm simply pointing out the nonsense that goes on over there and how it is allowed by the board owner. You seem to believe this is a cancer, eating away at my gut 24/7. It isn't. After I sold our 57,I was basically told I was no longer welcome over there. That site is so dead now,it's almost a waste of time to even read it.

Yeah, used to be fun over there. Lots of good posts, some arguments, some good natured tomfoolery but slowly and inexorably, it has been reduced to what it is today. The loss of Jack and Ric didn't help at all. Mostly, though, it seemed that people were driven away by the incessant crapola that was, and still is, the driving force there. So many left because they became disgusted with it all. I still check there several times a day, hoping that there will be a change. It's a mausoleum

OK, I don't normally get involve with forum fights but I've found this one to be interesting as it compares the 2 main V8 bike fora ( or forums? yeh, Brit with an MA and 2 Fellowships but still can't guarantee a transmission fix so I've still got to get a grip on reality).

Wildman has helped me in my BH saga and thanks and respect to him so any dissing is bad news for me.

I find this forum is full of people who are approachable (even to a Limey) and ready to talk openly as equals. I feel you can say anything here and if it pisses someone off you get flamed - and rightly so. But isn't that freedom of speech?

Anyway, if I ever get back to the States, (last time a great West Coast road trip 5,500m in 2 weeks, (but in a V6 Pony convertible)) I'd love to hook up with some of you guys (Sue you are an Honory 'Guy' in my book and I'd love to meet you and Bill). I am so V8 sad that I can go onto my garage and just start her up to hear her idling!

I only use the other site for the tech archive due to size and variety but I've often been ignored when asking for advice. Still maybe that's bad luck.

Still life's too short to get wound up by it. I am fine with being only 1 of 2, Super Sport Hosses in the UK! and that acceleration and sound! I've fitted 4-1-2 exhausts and they do sound great!

Anyway rant over and back to normal family life.

I was just over at the tea site and the "other guy" posted something about Marv is sharp.. What is he talking about NItros usage at 160 - 170mph??? Somebody explain it to me!

That one took some re reading for me, too. Though I was not an English major (Industrial Arts), I am fairly good at spelling and sentence structure. Not college level, but understandable, colloquial, American English. Knowhamsayin??
Anyhoo, he was talking engine temperature, I think. It's the only thing that makes sense.

Glad to hear that I am considered one of the "guys" and we would also love to meet up with you or any of the other "guys" on this Forum!! Hopefully we will meet a lot at Pullman City. We are only 22 days from Day 1 Pullman City and 19 Days from our arrival to Sabine and Peter's home for pre Pullman City Party!!
