Geez, is this picture your "ex", the Willy's? I still have that beautiful beast as part of my screensaver. I actually made a stab at talking to you about the Willy's as Steve Barr would have partnered up with me but neither one of us had the balls to tell the old women they'd have to "climb" in and out.

Now in the spirit of "why us old guys like V8 bikes", and considering no Geezermobile, no Willy's, no 'Stang...what's next? How 'bout a 500+ horse V8Chopper running around the north country?! It's you!

I need a V8 something..........do they make pills.......

Actually I am taking a ride this coming Saturday to
Dave Ward's place to look at the V8 Choppers, before
he heads to Daytona with the load.

Don't know if a chopper is my style, but at least I
want to take a hands on look, and listen to the
500hp Dart.......Should be fun.

Darryl:

That is a car I owned for a little over a year.

33- Willy's, hyd-lift, blown 502, yada, yada,yada....haha

I had to do alot of work on it to get it running right after
purchase.........A few idiots owned it.

Car took second place in the World of Wheels about 7-years
ago, I have been told. Was known as "Purple Passion". It
had a blown hemi in it at that time.

I sold it to a very rich guy in California.....Name, Tim Allen.
Have no clue if it was "Tool Time Allen", but when the car
carrier came to pick it up, he had four other high dollar rods
in the carrier for the same guy....

The buyer did mention he had a "helo-pad" at his house..

I thought about racing it, however it has some major issues
that were not conducive to racing.. Hilderbrand IRS rear
end, ( not strong enough ) and roll cage would have to be
modified for NHRA rules. I just didn't want a car show queen,
as that gets real boring.

Always wondered if he was going to revamp it and run it thru
"Barret-Jackson".

Geez,

When you see David, tell him I said hello. When you evaluate the bike, I'd like to hear from you. If you don't like it though, lie to me. Mine will be finished up this week.

Stan has been a blast to work with. Well, almost always a blast. Unfortunately he and Neil got together and pulled a dirty trick on me. I'm getting too easy to fool in my old age. It had to do with lawnmower plugs and headers if you get my drift. Shameful.

Bob,

You and That car really have a good story. Blown 502,,, that sounds like a runner. Sold it to A "tim allen", that shows it must have been nice augh augh augh,,, don't like attention but you had a blown boss hoss? i don't know how that works together but either way from what i have seen you have had some awesome rides. Heck i said i would never sell my HD until i saw Barb on her trike, now i wanta trike for my better half, & i may have found a buyer for my HD, coworkers from the U.S. (two want it, first one with the cash gets it) So what's next? Maybe a V8 chopper? gonna look at em soon you say,, that can be the first step in returning. Keep us up to speed on what's next or are you gonna surprise everyone? Inquiring minds want to know,,,,, 8-) :D

El:

Just going down to meet several other people to take a
look at these bikes.

Hopefully, I will remember to take a camera. Don't think I
will be taking a "demo" ride with the weather we have been
having, but will take a close look as to what they have to
offer.

Wonder if they have a "cup-holder" option.......Weber must
have one....... :P :P

Geez,

As part of the "Weberization" process, it probably has a well concealed swivel/rocker/recliner not to mention a propane fired grill for the brats. I haven't figured where he's concealing the mini keg though.

You know you mention that weather thing...I had to move here to figure why everyone was moving to FL. These 50 mph winds, 25 degree ambient temps, and snow flurries sure put the kabash to riding! I know, I know, you and Jack D. are thinking that sounds like summer compared to Wisconsin or upstate NY.

So much for my getting wiser with years...
