I'm still out here doing my thing. Hoss remains road worthy though it keeps nickel-and-diming me, but that's just the way it goes. I do what I need to while I cuss at the heat, but then I'm still enjoying daily commutes and occasional joy rides, so it pays off.

Those with whom I had telephone contact: my old flip phone died, so all of my contacts are gone. I did not know it didn't have a removable memory card, and I wasn't smart enough to write anything down the old fashioned way. Lesson learned.

Anyhow, I'm still on the site, just not active at the moment.

Mate looking at your trike picture what’s going on between your starter motor and rear brake. Can’t quite see what it is ? Just interested

Just a spade-style foot peg attached to an adjustable chrome plate on the frame. The brake reservoir and brake peg are also attached to that plate.

Well, that's that. I had a feeling I might jinx it by making a post like that. Hoss is down for the count again. At least it survived daily commutes for 11 months. That's a new record for this thing. No sense harping on all the nit-picky junk that needs to be replaced.

On the bright side, the weather has cooled off to the high 90's. I can buy new tools and gadgets and learn to do more of my own work without dying of heat stroke.

The curse continues. Other, more serious things are wrong. I have drained it. It's going on jack stands.

Think you need to have a word with Santa. Time for an upgrade !!!
