Andy Werner

Post by AR »

V8'ers...we got this message from Bob Shepherd today :cry: I'm sure he wont mind me sharing with the rest of the family;

Hi Guys

A sad note today.

Andy Werner of Boss Hoss Germany suffered a very bad heart attack on Sunday and is in very bad shape. He evidently had this attack at a bike show while showing their new bike to the public. He has had renal shutdown and is showing a lot of blood in the lungs and is comatose. He was without a pulse for approx 1 hour so their may be brain damage, lets hope not. So say a little prayer for him and hia family, Gaby, Lisa and Lena. When we were in Germany he treated us royally, truly a great guy.

Bob Sheppard

P.S. I will keep you posted

I'm shocked to hear about this...

I'll pray for him to heal good, and for his family to have enough strength to stand all the troubles they're in now!

He (and Benne) were at my home Saturday night and after breakfast he went back to the bike show. Everthing was funny and normal. Around lunchtime he took the 620 in front of the stage for the show when it happend.
He was lucky so far that on a show like this an ambulance and doctors are right on site.

When we got the news his wife Gabi, Andy Müller, Frank, Uwe and Heike , me and Biene went to the show as fast as we could, but all we could do was cry, wait and stand around while they treated him in the emergency room. Of course Gabi is with him now.

He has been on my mind every minute since.......

Please send your prayers out. It does not look good at this point....

Sad news...Andy died a couple hours ago in the hospital. I'm still speechless...spent 3 days in Pullman with him and a couple other friends two weeks ago for new years eve....God, we lost a really good friend with him....and the world of Boss Hoss riders lost one of the most enthusiastic Boss Hoss fellows I ever knew. Andy, we will never forget you...

May the Almighty accept his Spirit as enthusiastically as he always embraced his fellow Boss Hoss Riders.
