Hi Everyone,
I think I am back It has been a very long hall with Mom in the Hospital! We spent 21 days in SICU During this time we went from Terminal to Hour by Hour to day by day. I stayed at the Hospital or in a Motel for the first 5 days. She was then moved to Long Term Care and we are still there waiting for things to heal and then on to rehab! I have been staying at my parents house while Eagle came home to take care of things here. Mom is doing much better and so I am now only going up to see her 2 times a week and talking to her on the phone every day. Mom had an abdominal aneurysm that ruptured. She had to have a artificial artery put in to both of her legs, this caused the colon and kidneys to shut down due to lack of blood flow during surgery. All has came back and working well. Her biggest problem is her COPD, she had a really hard time getting off the respirator and had to be Trek.

I have missed so much here and may not ever get caught up, but that's okay..... Now y'all have me to put up with again!!!

Good news B-fly... I'm guessing that your Mom is still struggling with all the bit's n' pieces of healing and all. Hope she's out of the woods on the medical needs other than rest and relaxation!

Also to you and Eagle... it will be a nice breath of fresh air, when your Mom is on the mend for you two kids!
