I fabricated this 1" bar across the the rear of my tank that replaces the f@#$ng cross-over line. Notice that all other ports are plugged, eliminated.
The fuel supply and return is via Jiffy-Tite valved quick disconnects; this set-up is the bomb.
No longer need to drain the tank to service the air filter or carb, etc. Simply disconnect the 2 Jiffy-tite disconnects, 4 tanks bolts, and dash harness and off she comes; the Jiffy-tite doesn't leak, might spill a drop during the disconnect. You carb guys running the factory setup will only need one disconnect.
Some of the components are listed below, the majority of fitting and braided stainless -6AN hose I already owned and not listed below, but all available from Summit.
You will need to replace your entire distributor with a MSD low profile crab style and a MSD 6A ignition.

Re: Cross-over line and petcock valve eliminated
I just ran a line from one crossover fittings back, around the distributor and forward to the other crossover fitting. I don't have a parts breakdown, but it cost me, maybe, 5 bucks. I can remove my tank in less than a minute

Being a cheapskate allows me to spend my disposable cash on tools and my monthly six pack. Plus, I don't have to hear Wifey say, "You spent how much for THAT!!!!!!"
