I spoke with Brian Macy with Horsepower Connection this morning on a new ecm with his program on it and he said if I could get more people to buy in we could get a better price. Craig Haymaker had his trike done and he couldn't be more thrilled!!!Anyone interested in doing this much needed upgrade? Thanks Chris

If I am reading correctly the problem is in the wiring
harness. If this is true wouldn't a new ECM or even a new program still be eventually affected by the same faulty wiring harness. Seems to me they should just use the GM harness instead of paying someone to do a custom harness.

No lag on no lag off better fuel mileage, just go to Craig Haymaker's posts on this subject he had his done.Brian told me it would be $500.00 for tune and $215.00 for a brand new ecm.I have a friend that's going to buy one for his bike, his really has bad lag on lag off to the point of being dangerous!!!

I understand the lag part..have driven a couple LS3 trikes...don't like it.

In Daytona I was told there was no way to get/program that out...hmmmm

New ECM plug and play I believe you keep your old one as it's locked and he can't get into it to reprogram.

BHM, I am thinking that Brian has found it easier to "not deal with" our locked ECMs, just replace the ECM with his program ! His ECM will NOT be locked, so any future tweeks could be done. And you know what, the results we get from Brian's tune, far out weights its cost, IHMO. Besides all that, Brian's personal cancer treatment and recovery issues = money well spent !

That is only if your old ecu is unlocked. If it is then we can just flash. If not we need a new one. I want to flash the trans PCM at the same time and they are not locked.

Could we do the same thing for an LS-300 tune?

We could but I have not had a 300 to dyno tune yet. We need one here in the shop first then I can reflash them also.

Right now I have 2 different bikes that we have tuned on the dyno with the 485hp engine. Both run real well.

I am not the guy who likes to make guesses. I know the 485s ran good so we are comfortable that they will work fine.

Ok here is the deal,
I have tunes for the 485hp trikes done that we had on the dyno.

The BH PCM if it has NOT been tuned with HP Tuners it is locked and even if the lock is bypassed the old program leaves behind lots of stuff and will not completely erase. So a new PCM is needed, it will not be locked coming back so it can be tuned again on a dyno if needed, by anyone who has HP Tuners or EFI Live.

I am getting a price on new trans modules for those who want a set that way they have the PCM and Trans they have now and a new unlocked set. I will post all the costs so you guys can make a decision.

What we need will be your trans module if you are not going to buy a new one or you can get the PCM and Trans module we will program and send out.

I have a 2015 trike with an LS-300. I'd consider riding from Dallas to Lake Havasu City. I'd need to know approximately how many days this would take and if I would be able to ride the trike on the evenings between work days. If not, am I looking at having to get a rental car (or would you let me sleep in the garage bay next to my scoot)?

Brian, if I pay the full cost of a tune for an LS-300, do I own the rights to that tune? Meaning only I could sell a "right to use" it? If I pay up front, I would share the cost with others. First guy would pay half the tune. Next guy would pay a third and I'd rebate the first guy the difference. And so on and so on. No free lunch, but a good deal. Your thoughts?

Sounds good but the tunes are saved and ours after completion to do what we want with.

You guys can buy all the hardware, laptop and download then do what you want sure. They are not locked. However you will be spending quite it bit more money.
