Check transmission mount bolts / trike

Here is a picture that a customer just sent me from his "new to him a couple days ago" 2001 Coupe...both transmission mounting bolts gone...something to check trike guys

Went for a ride today and had horrible vibration when shutting of the gas. Bugger I though what now. Turned around and got it in the workshop for a good look.
Barry, look what I found. Should have checked sooner.
Thanks for the pointer and a lesson for all trike owners. Seems it may be a common problem

I’ll say. The symptoms were horrible . Terrible vibration shutting the gas off at speed. The guy who sent you the photo. Was he just checking it over or had the same fault been reported to him ?

He had just bought it from another customer and was going through it all before riding as it sat for a couple years.

Well I now no from experience, losing both bolts would have made it unridable which does make me wonder if that was why it was sold ??
