Post by Boom Boom & Rockstar »

had to get a new battery for the 2007 trike already..would not hold a charge..was jumping it everytime we rode and was afraid we'd get stuck somewhere..bought a car battery..had an odyssey (sp) in it..heard they were not the best..anyone else have trouble with that certain brand...???? Boom

Bm Bm, had the small odessey in my bike when i got it, a 625 or 650 don't remember this number,, it didn't last and got a 925 on warranty. has been great ever since. i also use a battery tender on mine as sometimes it sits for 6 weeks while i have gone to work  Optima batteries are also recommended by some on .com

The odessey 925 is the ticket. I have one in my 502 and it is always ready and has a lot of reserve cranking capacity. Car batterys tend to breathe and leak....

Odessy does not even recomend a trickle charger if you don't have a parasitic draw.925 all the way.

BB & R

Had the Odessy 650 went to the 925 know im using the Odessy 1200 it seems to have the cranking power and fits just fine on the 32 trike. I keep it pluged into a trickel charger when we can. The little batterys cann't handle the colder climates

I have been using the 1200 on my bike since the first few months after I bought it in 03. I don't use a charger just leave it and forget about it.
