Where are you located? We are in the area of Sault Ste. Marie at the moment. Saw a red Ls3 (?) on Hwy17 a couple of weeks ago.

Hi all,
Sorry about not responding earlier, just got really busy last year with life stuff.
My bike is a 97 clutch bike, just bought a one speed tranny and torque converter, just need the controls and then will do the conversion.
I'm active now so will be responding fast lol.

Sounds good Gila, I'm just east of Toronto north of Oshawa
on 10 acres here. Wish I could make La Crosse this year, but work will not let me. Next year I plan on doing the rounds at daytona and either sturgis or la crosse. If your coming this way in the summer I'd definitely like to meet. Not many bosses in ontario, I haven't met any yet.

Hey Steve ,,, I have to recant ,,, I bought my 502 from Whitby ,,, or something like that ,,, right next to Oshawa ,,, I met with Bob also ,,, actually had them service my bike once ,,, my preferred dealer in the area is Mountain Boss Hoss out of Somerset PA ,,, in the West I use Destination when I can ,,, see you this summer ,,, Mike

Thanks and your welcome Barry, my mistake anyways, should of realized when I made it.

Mike I like MBH, they are closer then Barry is and will use them for my bigger items I can't take care of.
Sadly ontario has the worst insurance rates otherwise there would be a much bigger demand for these great machines.

if I remember right, in chatting with Bob Switzer in Daytona this year there is an answer to Insurance for Ontario...might be worth a call to him...

Talked to Bob in Daytona. He said State Farm is the one with "reasonable" rates in Ontario.

I thought i checked State Farm last year, I'll try them again in June when mine is up

Welcome. I know I'm a little late but better than never. I have most my stuff through state Farm here in AB and they would not touch my hoss. Good luck, hope you find something affordable.

Thanks for the welcome, better late than never.
Yeah the insurance in Ontario is insane, 5600 for mine, but commonwealth is insuring them now for 3100, still expensive for a motorcycle, but a different breed and I can't go back to a twin. Still Savin 2500.

Bob and Switzer boss hoss told me about the new insurance if anyone in Ontario is looking.
