I remember a movie many years ago about a family that traveled around the country
doing just what your friend does.. it starred the actor ( can't remember his name right now) with "matt dillon"
gun smoke He was a stiff legged deputy ...Damn its too late at nite when I'm posting this...

This same actor was in a movie about a crazy semi tractor chasing him around the countryside..Shit its hard to get old!!!!
I'll remember his name about 3;00 am .

but it was a favorite of mine.
