Chewed over them for the day and starting to reckon they made some nice changes..looking forward to hearing about whats happened on the mech side of things.
AR.
Ps. Haha, funny how factory mods makes some of the on-line folk want to knife each other.
Please, please everyone. Do not mock the dashboard. I dared to state my dislike of it on the "other board" and received some nasty feedback from an expert on design. I, correctly, said that it is cheap looking, like a tin stamping or a vacuum formed plastic thing. I am sorry. It a beautiful piece, worthy of a spot in the Museum of Industrial Design. The Home Depot hinge really puts it over the top. I am going to mortgage my home to purchase one (just the dash) to put in my personal gallery here at the Fongderosa
I stopped by the BH factory last week,
and saw the new models.
VERY impressed with the new tanks !!!!
Way to go, Monte and crew !!!!
If I was older and having knee problems,
I believe I'd look into the new trike !

Bill, If I was older and wanting to slow down and ride something
less powerful I would look into a bike like yours.

Yesterday I got a good look at the 2012 models at the factory. For those who were not satisfied with the sound of the LS engines...... problem solved. The 4.8 without cam is plenty loud....with cam it is damn loud and has a snotty idle. The LS3 with cam is just a beast. The new dash is extremely well thought out. The gauges are angled perfectly to be viewed by the rider. Back lighting is through the numbers which really helps the visibility. Easy to read in the dark. The dash is magnetically latched and easy to lift for refueling. I found very little worthy of complaints. The whole lineup looks good. The "old" fuel and gear position indicator is being redesigned into a flatter version that fits the contours of the dash better. If other needs for change surface...rest assured...they will be addressed.
I hate the new style tanks, because I bought one for mine not long ago for big dollars and now everybody gets one for free...hahahaha...
Seriously - I like the looks of the new tanks a MILLION times better than the old boring bubble-tanks, and I really like the new vented rear brakes!!!
It's far from beeing perfect in design, but I even like the looks of the new dash better than the old dashes. The new trikes doesn't look bad either - all in all - the factory made a BIG step in the right direction. The bikes do look so much better since 2010 with all the changes - 300 rear tire, stretch tanks and all. Big difference!

Ron,
So i am needing clarification of this "Top 5" hangover. Would this be your top 5 or would it be for all mankind? Don't you think this would have been alleviated by a healthy dose of blue and red tire smoke? or would it have just made the hangover more excruciating? Inquiring minds want to know,,,, and if your wondering me and hangovers,, well, it is not a pretty sight,,,,
