Had a great ride with a few V8's after the 11 Annual run hosted by Wild Bill (Awesome run BTW!). We went and rode the loop in Ormond Beach with Wild Bill leading the pack, me riding "Bitch" with Wingman502 (Peter). Of course we had to stop for gas and what would it be if one of us didn't break down? Yup Chris riding his Big Block Vanquish needed a jump. A guy at the station had a neat device that will jump start a car. I think we all need to carry one of these around. Chris had the bike started in no time but...... as he started the bike and rev'ed it several times a cop came over and was NOT pleased with the "noise" and asked for license and registration - there was no talking with this guy after 15 minutes he returned to the bikes (meanwhile Chris couldn't turn off his bike in fear it wouldn't start again) to give him a warning. Half way around the loop we stopped at the Fairchild tree. I then jumped on with Mark and Sabine (peter's wife) rode with Peter. Don"t worry I kept a close eye on them After the loop some split off and a few went for coffee and then to the Bakers BBQ - busy fun filled day!!!
That was a super cool ride. Nice lifestyle having a place along the intercoastal in that area north of Ormond beach.
Thanks Bill for organizing the annual v8ride again and leading us to the "loop". It is always great to spend time with you and I wish we could do this more often.
Thank you so much Susan for letting us ride your trike. It made this the most memorable day of our stay.
- Susan, thanks for teaching me the "Pan-Trick"!
- Peter, it was great seeing you again & thinking back on the years at Bike Week!
- So, did any of you see my miraculous Vanquish catch at the Sunoco where the pumps were all closed? We never really talked about it.
- Bill, next time, don't pee on the 2,000 year old tree!

Peter-you are very welcome!! I noticed some pictures are sideways depending on the device I am looking at them so here they are right side up (I hope anyway) let me know if they are not.
