Re: I found my project bike
Barry,
turns out I was only able to go for a few short rides before the fuel filter clogged from debris in the tank from the bike sitting for so long. Mike had the bike picked up and did a full strip and re coat of the inside of the tank. It is almost done and I should have it back in about one week. The time I was able to ride it was really impressive (pulls alot harder than the 606) and rode very smooth.I can't even tell it has a car tire. It is a 275/18 Sumitomo. No weird leaning or pucker moments inn gravel lots, etc.

Re: I found my project bike
Thanks Bill for the update...not even Gwen could convince me about the great handling of a car tire (maybe on a trike) and she can convince me of a lot of things..lolV8Bikers wrote:Barry,

Re: I found my project bike
Irregular surfaces is where a car tire produces the most problems IMHO. Nearly put me down a couple of times trying to park on a irregular surface . No more car tires for this guy .
