I still can`t believe a 7 year old bike could cause that much grief on a mere 4000 mile trip. Maybe I should call the factory about some warranty assistance.

Good To hear that Butterfly....My 5000 mile roundtrip to Canada was uneventful...had a rear brake light switch die in the rain and didnt need it...also my brakeaway cruise control played up and I fixed it myself.Butterfly wrote:Tom,
You poor thing.....to have so much lack of problems on such a very short trip!!!!!
You should just go on and sell the damn thing..it's too reliable!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's good to hear you had a great trip and the trike did so well. I am starting to trust the Beast and riding it more with Eagle and not worrying about getting home!
I am not a good hitchhiker and the fire dept won't keep giving me rides home!
It feels good not to have the same problem with the bike, we have had some minor things but after everything else...it's been a piece of cake and the Beast is holding up to her name.

This kind of news is so good to hear! I am now becoming a believer that we too can ride without fear, but also know that the bike is like any other motor vehicle out there and can have a problem. All we can do is make sure everything is working right and have some tools and phone numbers on hand.hosszz4 wrote:Good To hear that Butterfly....My 5000 mile roundtrip to Canada was uneventful...had a rear brake light switch die in the rain and didnt need it...also my brakeaway cruise control played up and I fixed it myself.Butterfly wrote:Tom,

yeah I use plugs if I get a rear tire compunction but would never use it on the front.zenbiker wrote:and never have any compunctions about going anywhere.
