Most tire changing shop have a brush on product
that is used to "seal" the bead of the tire to the rim.
If this product is brushed on the whole inside of the
rim it should seal it just fine.

That's a pretty easy fix, just a little corrosion. When I used to be a tire buster at Goodyear in college, I saw that all the time on chromed rims. You can take an abrasive wheel and smooth it out, then apply a grease (tire shops have it) to seal it up. It was always a pain when people powdercoated their entire rims since it was such a rough surface. A lot of times the bead wouldn't seat because there was so much friction from the powercoat.
Don't junk the rim, it can be easily sealed up.

You were correct.... I cleaned the bad parts up. then I bought this stuff for $27.00 so far no leaks, less than one day. This just started after I used Runflat. 2 tires ago. The person that changed my tire recommended it. Never using that again!!!!!!Foose1986 wrote:That's a pretty easy fix, just a little corrosion.
